http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/6648384This is damn funny. K-State goes from a preseason top 10 to the bottom of the Big 12, unless K-State refuses to let the recruits go.

WVU's program is about to go to the shitterthey go from a quality, character-oriented coach to the snake in the grass Huggins
4/5/2007 3:57:20 PM
You think Beasly will charge him extra to follow him to WVU?
4/5/2007 3:58:37 PM
if dana altman leaves creighton again i'll shit in my pillow case
4/5/2007 3:59:28 PM
WVU is going to lose every recruit they hadi just can't see those white boys playing huggins style of play... huggins is anything but princeton style.should play out interestingly
4/5/2007 4:02:35 PM
If Huggins can get his K-State recruits(especially Beasley) to come with him, I bet WVU is top 5 preseason. Except for Young, everyone on WVU is coming back.

4/5/2007 4:15:51 PM
Well hell, if adding 1 freshman McD AA to an NIT team can make a team top 5, then sign us up too![Edited on April 5, 2007 at 4:16 PM. Reason : ]

This could affect the ACC as well. It wouldn't shock me to see Pat Patterson at WVU now instead of Duke... In fact, it would surprise me if he did NOT go to WVU..[Edited on April 5, 2007 at 4:23 PM. Reason : x]

4/5/2007 4:47:45 PM
well you're right about the fact that there won't be any white boys there given a few yearswe all know about Huggins and his character, especially Charlotte fans/followers, I don't get why this should be a surprise
4/5/2007 4:50:23 PM
i thought it looked like patterson was going to florida but im confused what wvu and huggins have to do with him?

saw a thread on packpride about how the best recruit on their team wants to open up commitment if the school lets him, he said three schools would take him and his friend, who is also a Kstate recruit. i dont think it will happen but....http://forums.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=178&F=2515&T=364800&STO=pagestart

4/6/2007 2:27:43 AM
i think we were in it for a long time with Sutton, but I never heard about Beasley. I dont like this though...something sounds fishy.Of course we have 2 for next years class that havent signed LOI's yet. Just food for thought. [Edited on April 6, 2007 at 2:40 AM. Reason : ]

i dont think its a bad hire at allmatter of fact, WVU could use a little Thuggins in their game
4/6/2007 10:33:37 AM
Beasly is an absolute toolbag. But is a dominating monster. When me and some friends went to Oak Hill to watch games he (and Lawson) owned every basketball game.Except the ones where he was suspended and couldn't play.
4/6/2007 11:28:47 AM
You can roll your eyes at me all day long and my OPINION of MICHAEL BEASLEY will never change.I had the pleasure of watching him play for the Prep National title the second week of March in DC. The guy is a complete asshole with no dignity what-so-ever. I was actually so appauled by his behavior (both on and off the court over the two days we were there) that I wrote the AD at KState & Bobby "Bracket Poison" Huggins and told them that if I were an alum at KState that I would trash my season tickets because of this kid. If he comes here, I will be utterly ashamed of my university. I'd rather win the NIT every year than to start carting in kids like this to win. What an eyesore for the university as a whole. If you know nothing about him, keep your rolly eyes to yourself
4/6/2007 10:54:00 PM
Imagine that... a girl getting her panties in a bunch. Who said I don't know anything about Beasley or that my opinion of him is any different than yours? Anyway...It is ridiculous that even the slightest, far-fetched possibility of signing (or even actually signing) a shady asshole character to play for NC State would make someone want to "burn my diploma and cut all ties with NC State University". Of course you do have a vagina... an overreaction like that should be expected.Just for you:
4/6/2007 11:32:15 PM
Absolutapril, you fail to realize most high profile athletes are like that. In a lot of ways, thats what makes them good.
4/6/2007 11:39:21 PM
0% graduation rate...cant get much worse than that
4/7/2007 5:48:45 PM
^exactlyNo- most high profile players aren't like that (Bird, Jordan, Nash, James, Nowitzki, Garnett, Duncan, Terry, Stackhouse, need I name more?) While these guys have larger than life personalities they are still likeable (even to the general public). I speak from experience about Stackhouse and especially Tim Duncan since I grew up in WS while he was in school at WF. Even though I hate Carolina, there are few people who have ever worn that jersey who I would say are a stain on the university (even fewer at Duke and less at Wake b/c the school isn't as high profile) But I must say that I really have no desire for State to pick up someone who could end up being worse for our image than Chris Washburn. I love how everything on this board revolves around me being a girl. I have seriously considered buying a new name and listing myself as male, so I can get rid of that stupid comeback. While OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't burn my diploma, that was the easiest way to put to words my feelings for Michael Beasley. Do I think he'll come to NCSU?--No, more than likely he'll follow the snake in the grass Huggins to WVU. Honestly, they make a good pair. But then again, since our new head coach's son is facing a laundry list of criminal charges, maybe he would fit in at State. Seems like these days we'd sell the collective soul of the student body to beat Carolina.

Wow--do you really consider that a cheap shot? I mean, seriously---most people tend to believe that children are a byproduct of their upbringing. The line between what is acceptable and was isn't is obviously blurred in Sports Talk...

^^ Wonder what in Tony Dungy's son's upbringing led him to kill himself?P.S. since women don't usually know about sports, I'll tell you upfront that you would be hard pressed to find a better person than Dungy.P.P.S. Stackhouse is kind a douchebag too. So is Jordan.
4/8/2007 1:51:27 AM
guys, the comparison between sid's son and dungy's son needs to stop. it's completely different.killing yourself != being a drug dealer who hits people w/ bottles while holding them up at gunpoint.as much as i love sid, it's just not the same.
4/8/2007 1:57:23 AM
The point isn't to say they are the same, it's showing how parental influence isn't what always guides an ADULT's actions. And f I had to guess, I would say that drugs were involved in both cases.
