i need him for a computer issue.or anyone else who is an network/troubleshooting expert.i've got a client and his network is down.he has a sat data link & dsl line, server, router, switch, two workstations, etc... the dsl company turned off his line, which in turn screwed up everything else. dsl connection has been restored, but nothing works. even if the dsl line is hooked directly up to a workstation.i need someone who will go to his location and take care of things.pay is TBD.

rogueleader does not do tech support anymore, nor does he read tww i don't think.have they tried turning everything off and then back on again? If a cable modem loses connection and then regains it, the router or whatever is hooked to it often needs to be reset as well to refresh the IP addresses and sync everything back up.

^ cycling things like that isn't always the answer especially if they use some older hardware. It can be a little more complicated and doing that can screw up everything. You might need to tell them to call a specialist with whatever hardware they might have. If you don't know what you are doing don't touch it.

Sounds like Bellsouth cut the service and in turn disabled the settings in the modem. I've had it happen before to one of my clients. Could just be as simple as reprogramming the modem and/or router if the IP has changed.
