Holy crap that was awesome. I've never heard them and my girlfriend scored free tickets some how. We get there and the first band that played was uh... somewhat disturbing. The singer had a great range but their songs were just... wierd. So then the Russian... excuse me... USSR national anthem (correct by gf) played and then they came out. I've been to a lot of concerts but that by far was the best live show I've ever seen. It was a seated auditorium in downtown raleigh (NC Symphony plays there) and nobody was sitting except the people in wheelchairs. Toward the end he invited everyone who wanted onto the stage and some chick almost upstaged him on singing his own song. The best song I heard was called The Crane Wife. They played 1 and 2. I've never had more fun at a concert. The musical performance was great, and I enjoyed the band's carefree attitude on stage. Nice setlist...at the start they played almost continuously for 30+ minutes. That girl ^ must feel pretty special to share a mic with Colin on stage. And the final song of the night, Mariner's Revenge, was quite a treat. I never saw the whale coming...
