Congrats to Florida on being the first back to back champs since Dook in 1991-92.Just think, every single one of the Gator's starting 5 are eligible to come back for another year. Other than an injury, all of their key players NBA draft stock would only go up, especially because Oden & Durant would be gone. Not likely to happen, but the chance is there. We would be talking UCLA type domination if that were to happen. I supose it has quite a lot to do with the future of Donovan though, who in reality, looks to be Kentucky bound.Fuck it though, I'd pull for them (behind NC State of course) to go for a three peat!

Isn't Humphrey a senior? Both Horford and Noah are gonna declare anyway and probably Brewer as well.
4/2/2007 11:39:37 PM
It would be crazy if none of them jumped.
4/2/2007 11:39:42 PM
well, Lee HumpTHREE and sixth man Richards are the only ones that have to leave
4/2/2007 11:40:08 PM
4/2/2007 11:41:12 PM
Tri-fecta?
4/2/2007 11:41:45 PM
it'll be tough to three-peat once Donovan leaves for kentuckyespecially since the players will likely take off for the nba right behind him
4/2/2007 11:45:22 PM
yeah I don't see florida winning it next year.
4/2/2007 11:47:37 PM
Noah's gone, Horford's gone, Brewer's gone, Donovan's gone...And 07-08 Pack will handle them anyways.
4/2/2007 11:48:42 PM
I expect Green to be the only returning starter, but with the tight friendships between those 4 (except senior Humphrey), I wouldn't be completely shocked if all the juniors came back for their senior year. If Billy Donovan leaves, it will be for the NBA, not for Kentucky.
4/3/2007 12:16:23 AM
i would love to see them come back only to not make the ncaa or lose in the first round.
4/3/2007 12:18:16 AM
yeah, because that would be exactly what happens
4/3/2007 12:19:00 AM

I grew up in Florida but will never, ever be a Gator fan. I liked Georgia growing up (my dad went there) and now am a die hard State fan. Two of my best buds both are Florida alums and are on clown nine with all of this success. While I hate that the Florida keeps winning, I'm happy for them and their school. UF really is an awesome school with a great campus, atmospehere, etc.I live in Kansas now and am starting to see the Gator bandwagon fill up. Two guys I play basketball with have started wearing Gator shit and one talks like he graduated from there even though he's never been to Gainesville. That shit pisses me off...
4/3/2007 4:49:57 PM
it will never happen because nc state is winning next year, god I thought you knew that[Edited on April 3, 2007 at 5:26 PM. Reason : .]
