http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/Video/prod/AVC-1400/Works really well, I used it to hook up an SNES to my laptop.I'm selling it because I have another video capture card and I need some cash to buy Guitar Hero II.$25 OBO

So is this like a capture card, but it only records games through your system?

It has Component input (yellow, red, blue) and S-Video input. The intent is to use it to play games on a PC. It doesn't have any video lag, so it is possible to play on your PC monitor and record at the same time.I used it to play SNES on my laptop and, if I felt the urge, I could record a video of my Starfox skills for later review. (right) I suppose you could also hook up a dvd or tape player or something. It does NOT have a cable tuner. But it is pretty tiny and easy to use.I've posted pics of the card and the cables in my gallery.

i have one of these with composite input (R,W, Y, S-vid) and it works pretty well...you can play just about whatever video game system on your laptop, and in full screen mode. the record function's nice if you wanted capture vid's for youtube or something of you doing fun stuff with your games.like games? wanna play them on your laptop? or wanna record them? buy this from him.cheers

FYI... Woot.com occasionally has the Adaptec GamebridgeTV (AVC-1410) which is exactly the same as this except it also has a coax input so you can watch and record TV for $24.99 shipped. I have this and can attest to its worth, great product. You might want to start this off at $20 or so.

I could settle for $20 on this, if anyone is interested. But any less than that and I would prefer to just hang on to it.
