i have a court,date tom. if i show this date to the teacher will it be a university absence?

anyway, you can call in sick to a court,date? or remove it again to another day at the very least

A court date is a mandatory absence, they can in no way try to penalize you for not going to class. (I've been on both ends of this as a student asking and as teacher granting the absence).

I guess they could be bitter and mark your test more harshly, but most are cool and don't do that unless you have a hard ass
