Homemade, from scratch without the mix stuff. All the online recipes have that stupid mix in them?

The basics I've learned so far are
strawberries,
lime,
lemon,
refined sugar,
triple sec,
ice

My boss suggested strawberries, rum, coconut creme, and ice.

What do you guys think would make an excellent, succulent summer/spring time straweberry daiquiri?

Since strawberries have been $$ lately, I get giant frozen bags and use those. My parents have the master of all blenders, and they make the beeeest daiquiris. But, we generally just use the mix, w/ fresh strawberries, skyy, and ice cubes.

p.s. I can't remember what mix it is...it's not the cheap watery stuff you normally see, it's really thick and good.

If you are trying to fuck a really attractive girl or just a girl period you only need the following ingredients to make a strawberry daiquiri

--Strawberry Daiquiri mix

-- ice

-- rum

-- strawberries (these are optional)

-- banana (this is essential)

-- everclear (dont go overboard, but dont be a pussy either)

Its stupid how often this formula works. Seriously, If i could go back to 2001 I'd email this recipe to me just to avoid the 10-12 girls i missed having sex with.

my fav daquiris use the barcardi frozen stuff, about 1/2 can of sprite, a splash of OJ (if you want it creamy a little add like a scoop of vanilla icecream) captain morgan's spiced rum, and then top off the blender with ice. it will be thick, but it's damn good.

Its a good drink, but I can't order one at a bar without feeling like a bitch.

Its the grown ups Shirley Temple

good rum is required, the places around here don't even make a real one. It's not suppose to be a bitch drink they use only triple sec and a splash of rum. Go to cool places and it's load up with rum and you won't be calling it a bitch drink anymore (New Orleans or Mexico wil surfice).

It's intended for people who don't like lots of tequlia (real margaritia), but don't mind the more common rum filled drink.

i think they're good to drink at home, either out on the back deck or by the pool or something, wouldn't really get them out, except maybe at the beach or something, but they're definetly very good.

oh god no if you order one of these in a bar and you're not in fucking cozumel or somewhere tropical then you are a homo. You might as well use the ladies bathroom while you're there.

this is strictly to be had in the privacy of your own home when accompanied by females.

Wow, i shoulda been really clear on my first post i guess.

I got one at a poker table my last day in vegas complete with whipped cream and a cherry. I also requested a crazy straw, but they didn't have one so they attempted to manually make one with two straws, but that didn't work out too well. After doing shots of shitty tequilla at the table for the first time in years, nothing could have tested better than that sweet Strawberry Daiquiri.

I woulda been forced to raise your big blind everytime if you ordered something like that at my table.

The most out of line you'll ever see me get in a casino is maybe a whiskey sour.

Usually I'm a beer guy in casinos unless i wanna look really tough & bad and ill just start ordering manhattans so people know to respect my raises.

Nah, my play was pretty good. I never drink at the poker tables in vegas, but it was my last night, so I figured why not. I decided to play and drink all night until my flight the next morning. Luckily Nathan and I were smart enough to play some 1-2 nl that night instead of the 2-5 we played most of the time.
