If everyone stay healthy for once, then a 99 year draught could come to an end?

the more 2007 cubs threads the merrier

there will be more discussion about the Bears offseason than there will be about the Cubs from April through September

dumping dusty was a plus. but other than the whole "we are due" thing, I cant see how cubs fans think they will win it all this year....the cubs past 4 years have been full of:bad coachingbad front office decisions / payoutsbad injuriesbadly overrated playershowever, as an A's fan, Id rather see the cubbies win it than just about anyone else....

In Dusty We No Longer Trusty

Marquis and Lilly... absolutely awful. Right now the Cubs are going to live and die by Soriano's performance.

well they have ramirez and zambranoshould be much better this year and the central should be much weakerthey could make a run

^ And Lee

Lee was a one hit wonder in 2005. Zambrano is getting old, but it's his contract year so he'll probably post 16-18 wins and ~ 4.0 ERA. Ramirez is as streaky as they come, but he's still solid. Still, throw in Soriano and that really is about it to the Cubs. The NL Central is horrendous this year but I think the Cubs are going to need to win it in order to have any sort of chance.
