We bought way too much paint and have several cans of interior paint. Does anyone know which organizations accept paint? I'm thinking like a Habitat for Humanity or something.

The Habitat for Humanity resale center off Capital Blvd. sells paint so I'm sure you can donate to them. Look them up on anywho.com for their address.

If you have a nice tan/khaki color I might be interested in it.

Why not return it... unless it was a custom mix or something. I'd keep it. You never know when you're going to have to repaint something.

I'l see excatly how much paint and in what colors we have. Basically there is a REALLY bright red (called Chili Pepper or something, orangey red), there is a really light green (like the color of spearmint gum), there is a slate gray, and there is a khaki/mocha color. I'm pretty sure some of these have completely unopened cans. I'll let you know tonight.

I think J and I would take almost all of it from you depending on how much of each can you have. We are slowing repainting our entire house. We have one bedroom done but J doesn't like it now and he picked out the freakin' color...LOL so I am sure it will be changed We don't need like 15 cans of one color but so just let me know what you have

[Edited on March 19, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Reason : What rooms did you paint which colors??? Curious ]

I'm not interested in the red (I tried a sample - it didn't look good in my LR) but the others maybe - again depends on finish - not interested if it's matte/flat because I'm painting a bathroom.

Depends on the red...my high school bf's parent's LR was like freakin almost fire engine red and it looked great. His Mom was a good decorator!

So apparently my wife is giving the excess paint to a coworker. Turns out there was less than we thought anyways... 2 of the full cans were trim paint that we need for the windows. Sorry, folks.
