I don't know why he wouldn't wait. If Noah comes out this year, BB will prolly go 4 at the absolute best. If he waits till next year he could possibly be #1. This all if Oden and Durant also enter, and from the sound of Oden on PTI today, it sounds like he might stay for another year or two.

4????1????a[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 8:08 PM. Reason : a][Edited on March 13, 2007 at 8:08 PM. Reason : ya i was wrong but somebody caught it]

nevermind...you can pretend it didn't happen big baby shouldn't be top 5 if noah leaves...maybe not even top 10 considering lsu's flop of a season.[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 8:12 PM. Reason : .]
3/13/2007 8:08:35 PM
4? maybe 4th pick of the 2nd round
3/13/2007 8:12:11 PM
He will be late first probably. If he was good enough to be a lottery pick his team would be at least in the NIT.
3/13/2007 8:14:35 PM
3/13/2007 8:20:01 PM
Thats what I'm saying, but he said he needs more time to mature from a kid into a man. Either way, they said whenever he leaves, he will be the #1 pick, so it really doesn't matter.
3/13/2007 8:33:37 PM
By the looks of him, Oden skpped manhood right to middle age.
3/13/2007 8:34:33 PM
Maybe he just wants to work on his game some and not become the next Kwame Brown. Imagine how good he would have been had he gone to college for a year or two.
3/13/2007 8:41:23 PM
He's already been to college for a year, so he can't be the next Kwame Brown.
3/13/2007 8:43:26 PM
I mean't #1 pick who fails miserably.[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 8:53 PM. Reason : .]

haha god theoffice, maybe you should stay in entertainmentfirst you not only acted as if davis would not only go in the 1rst round, not only go in the lottery, but could go in the top 5 this year and 1 nextand i am mostly saying this from conjecture and guesswork and if oden really does stay, there is a minor chance i am wrong (or maybe he just saw the benefits of college, who knows)BUTdont get it twisted, Oden went to college b/c he HAD to.and if he really doesnt go pro, he is obviously immature or he has a VERY good insurance policy. its not like his draft status could be higheroh and as it stands, i wouldnt say he is lock for #1, but he is def a lock for top 2. just depends on the intelligence/slyness of the gm's w/ the 1 and 2 pick
3/13/2007 8:53:46 PM
I said AT BEST he would go #4. I didn't say he would go #4, thats his best possible option. However, if he stays in college another year, and has a great year like he did last year, he could be a high pick.^Did you watch PTI today? There was a whole interview they talked about that Oden gave where he needs to mature some more and has a need to grow. They also talked about how he is a very shy guy and stays away from the limelight. I'm not saying he definatly is gonna stay, but from the way he has been talking in interviews, it sounds like he just might. [Edited on March 13, 2007 at 8:58 PM. Reason : ..]

gad at best he COULD be #1i mean that is a true statementbut it is still absolutely ridiculous
3/13/2007 8:57:40 PM
No, because there is no way in hell he is going above Oden, Durant, and Noah IF they come out. There is no way he would ever go #1 this year. Its kinda like the whole thing with Jamarcus Russell, he had a good year in football, and torched up a bowl game, now he most likely is gonna go #1. If BB has a good year next year and another badass tourney, he could possibly go #1 or at worst top 5. Its not like this is some insane thing that could happen.btw, are you honestly saying he wont even go in the first round this year?[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 9:01 PM. Reason : .]
3/13/2007 8:59:23 PM
there is no way in hell he would ever go 4 eitherbut it is equally as possible as your statementwho knows i'm not an nba gm (obviously since i have some bball knowledge, i guess you could be one)if davis goes in the lottery i'll post a thread saying i'm an idiotbut dont worry, i won't ask you for a similar deal
3/13/2007 9:01:08 PM
I never said he would go in the lottery. I said his best possible option this year is #4 if all those guys come out. Most likely he will go around 15.However, if he stays another year, and dominates, he can improve VASTLY.[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 9:02 PM. Reason : .]
3/13/2007 9:02:22 PM
i cant imagine Noah staying in another year.
3/13/2007 9:07:58 PM
davis will not be a first rounder bud
3/13/2007 9:13:27 PM
hahahah you people are killing me with this lottery talk, the guy is borderline first round

oh, i thought this was about hansbrough

the difference between oden and kwame brown is that oden already has the physical tools to dominate the center position, kwame was more of a power forward drafted on potential[Edited on March 13, 2007 at 10:11 PM. Reason : k]

no it's a done deal...his coach even said so...what isn't for sure is whether he'll get an agent.
3/14/2007 11:01:23 AM
anyone who thinks this guy is a lottery pick should be suspended
3/14/2007 11:06:08 AM
^ agreed. this is a hysterical. he is projected at early-to-mid second round.
3/14/2007 12:44:56 PM
he should've left last year if he wanted to be a lottery pick...fresh off leading his team to the final four (with tyrus thomas)
3/14/2007 12:46:58 PM
He's an idiot. The draft is too deep this year.If he played another year he'd have a decent shot of going in the first round. And I cant believe someone said he'd go #4. Good job rwoody on calling him out before i could
3/14/2007 1:00:54 PM
I think TheOffice was just pointing out that Oden, Durant and Noah would go ahead of him so even if NBA GM's were smoking crack, he wouldnt go top 3

Everything I've seen has Corey Brewer rounding out the top 5 with Oden/Durant/Noah/B. Wrightthen again "everything I've seen" was nbadraft.net a month ago I hope he stays another year, he can do all the workouts and put feelers out for his current draft status, like Brandon Bass did a couple years back
