played yesterday. hit the green on just about every hole (played 9). but played real poor with the new putter. def. have to get used to it. its a heavy one.

perhaps ill play this weekend. or ill play a full 72 course. gotta see what kinda time i have

a few buddies and i got goin last summer on knights play about 3 days a week, as soon as we got worth a damn at golf, we stopped going. hopefully this spring/summer i'll get out there more.

I just started doing this whole golf thing since my dad decided its something that we can do together, been to the driving range a few times, played 18 holes down at seymourn johnson and shot about 90 over my first time out . Damn that water! So give me some heads up on the best bang for my buck as far as driving ranges go near campus. We are gonna play a couple courses at the end of the month and I would like to get some practice in to improve upon that score.

knights play has a driving range and it always tempts you to jump on the par 3 and play some. pretty cheap.

until the official golf thread is made, i'll post here

just got done walking RGA. started me on Stockholders then finished off on the front 9. greens on SH were fantastic, greens on front 9 of normal course were shit. apparently they just aerated yesterday. couldn't decide whether to use my putter or my sand wedge. all in all not too bad. 43-42 for the first time out this season. driver was amazing, wedges were amazing. putting was horendous and iron game was so-so. i'll call it an 85 because i'm trying to establish a handicap, but in my mind it was an 80-82 because of the terrible greens

Went there last week with 2 other players, it was a great night to play... but we got too drunk to play the entire 18

Thanks to Stef for bringing 6 beers each when I told her to bring 6 total.


But we got rain checks for the back 9.

i can't believe that eagle ridge is the only course ive played in this area. it was pretty good though. nice layout and a good diversity of holes.
