BORINGWe will know if we are in or not by 3:30[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 12:07 AM. Reason : Not insulting the thread BTW, it's a good thread. Just my feelings about Selection Sunday this year.]
3/11/2007 12:07:16 AM
some people aren't narrow minded homers and like to see how the rest of the teams are seeded as well
3/11/2007 12:08:53 AM
Yeah, I do too.But I can see that when I glance at a bracket on monday morning. No need to make it an hour (or 2?) long production when I have no personal stake in it.
3/11/2007 12:12:05 AM
eh i always enjoy itby the way how the hell is wake forest a site hosting first & second rounds?that place is small (compared to other arenas)[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 12:20 AM. Reason : ][Edited on March 11, 2007 at 12:20 AM. Reason : ]

3/11/2007 3:58:53 PM
RBC has a first/second round in 2008
3/11/2007 4:03:21 PM
3/11/2007 4:28:07 PM
RBC sold out first two rounds when it was here a couple of years ago...
3/11/2007 4:29:10 PM
Not only does Raleigh have the first 2 rounds next year, but Charlotte has a Sweet 16/Elite 8 Regional as well.
3/11/2007 4:44:25 PM
Good grief we know what Clark Kellogs hot button is.
3/11/2007 4:45:00 PM
have a team ever had home court in the tourney?
3/11/2007 4:45:46 PM
Other than when Duke plays at the the Meadowlands, I am not sure. But seriously I think it would have to have been a long time ago now that the Regionals and Final Fours are played at larger arenas. I think the close it will ever likely come is a hometown advantage. The team wouldn't play on their home court unless it is a super dome or huge enough arena to host a Final Four or regional game.
3/11/2007 4:55:41 PM
Duke better not be playing in Winston-Salem. I'll be pissed if they do.C'mon Boilers! Make the tournament!
3/11/2007 4:57:07 PM
rule is you can't play anywhere you played 3 games during the season.
3/11/2007 4:57:45 PM
OMG ARE WE GETTIN IN? I CANT WAIT TO WATCH
3/11/2007 4:58:14 PM
(no)
3/11/2007 4:58:50 PM
i think the #1's will be Ohio St, Kansas, UNC, FloridaLast four in: Purdue, Stanford, Old Dominion, DrexelLast four out: Kansas St, Illinois, Florida St, ArkansasLunardi updated Arkansas as in...I just don't think they jump all those teams to get in the field. It's impossible to separate Drexel and Old Dominion except for head to head. It is really a tossup between Drexel and K-State for the last in i think...
3/11/2007 4:59:45 PM
I hope Arkansas don't make it cause that would mean no team from the SEC West makes it in, which just reinforces why the SEC is a joke of a power basketball conference.
3/11/2007 5:00:48 PM
but if they do make it then it doesnt? its not like the team itself isnt any better or worse...
3/11/2007 5:01:51 PM
sweet, gg Florida, wow Carolina, suprised me, ohio state, kansasUCLA got jobbed haha[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 5:04 PM. Reason : d]

3/11/2007 5:03:56 PM
if conf tourneys are so important LET US IN
3/11/2007 5:04:47 PM
Carolina will be the first #1 to drop
3/11/2007 5:04:49 PM
Could be throwing in a "defending champion" bonus for Florida to be the overall #1, even though they're not supposed to.[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 5:05 PM. Reason : .]
3/11/2007 5:04:58 PM
the regions don't have anything to do with what teams are in them(as far as i know)its just in order of rank
3/11/2007 5:05:34 PM
Florida, North Carolina, Ohio State, Kansas
3/11/2007 5:05:46 PM
god this is such a cocktease

3/11/2007 5:08:04 PM
i thought the region which had the #1 overall and so on were predetermined and they were just put into the region
3/11/2007 5:08:07 PM
^^http://www.kenpom.com/all RPI calculations are different though--^well that's obviously the casemakes no sense to me though[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 5:09 PM. Reason : ]
3/11/2007 5:08:37 PM
UNC definitely the weakest #1But didn't UNC beat Ohio State in the regular season? so who knows, every day a 16 seed could topple a #1
3/11/2007 5:08:53 PM
3/11/2007 5:09:45 PM
yeah without oden though
3/11/2007 5:09:53 PM
