I was flipping between the State-Duke game and the WVU-Louisville game, and I got to see the end of regulation in the WVU-Louisville game. Basically, WVU scores with 4.3 seconds left to go up by 2 and the ball goes out of bounds to Lousiville. Louisville inbounds, and at least a full second ticks off the clock before the clock starts to run. Louisville promptly goes down the floor and scores on a buzzer beater to tie it and they eventually win in double overtime.Does anyone know the rules on reviewing that kind of thing? Can something like that be overturned (obviously it can't now) or is it only the end of the time clock? This is so fucking shitty because that could be the NCAA tourney for WVU, who by the way is so much better than some of the pathetic teams that will get at large bids.Oh yeah, by the way, go State.

yes, it can be reviewed, (in fact a similar situation happened at the end of the NCSU duke regulation) however, the only thing that changed would have been Louisville with the ball at the previous dead ball spot, thus WVU would not have immediately won, UL would be given another chance to tie/win

Just watched the replay and it's not nearly as bad as you claim it was. And this is coming from a WVU fan

it is probably a good 0.5 to a full 1.0 that should have ran off which would've made it very tight. does this cost West Viriginia a berth?? very well could...a win last night would've locked them in i think

I was watching the WVU/Louisville game too and that Louisville player took 3 steps in between dribbles as he scored the last point

you can take 3 steps nowanyone can get from halfcourt to the rim in 2 dribbles

im pretty sure the rule is that there is not a set number of steps you have to take when dribbling, so long you dont carry, travel, or something like that....so you can take a bunch of steps in between dribbles
