you could raise a wild carnivore from birth, and they usually turn out ok and stay adorable, as long as you feed them on time when they get big, otherwise...

There's an article in a recent National Geographic that tells how a young leopard killed an adult female baboon and was confused when the infant baboon looked at her. The leopard was confused then started caring for the little monkey, took it up into a tree for safety and later fell asleep with it.

Then it died in the night because of the cold and the leopard ate the mother in the morning.
