^^ I never said it was--wow, I can convert in Google, too! Two things: (1) The $500,000 estimate was from an NPR broadcast; and (2) in the linked article above, the line at issue reads that the Batmobile is "expected to fetch more [emphasis added] than £75,000." You will note well that $500,000 is in fact more than £75,000.

If the info below is correct, it went for only $233,000. I guess I should be happy, though; the lower the sale price of a Batmobile, the closer it is to my range.
