KICK HIM IN THE NARDS!

Just went to IMDb and there is a lot of talk about the DVD being released in Oct or Nov. Here is one post someone put on the message board.

Quote :
"So I went to the Monster Squad Reunion today in NJ.
I talked to Fred Dekker personally, and he said yes, it's coming out either in Septemeber or October of this year. Lionsgate will be putting it out, and that it will feature as many special features as they can fit. Including the Q&A section from today's reunion at Monster Mania, which I was a part of! He said that largely based on fan passion, it convinced Lionsgate to let them do a full featured dvd release.
He strongly hinted at their being a commentary track by him as well, but didn't really let on about any of the other features, saying that they had just started putting the DVD together recently.
I talked to all of those that were there, and they were all super nice. It was a great time.
If anyone was there, I was the kid who asked about any memerable scenes that got cut, when he was talking about the Van Helsing staking Dracula in the woods scene. "

That was posted 6 days ago.

Sweet this thread helped me make an exciting discovery. I was looking for this a few years ago and all I could find was the old VHS of one of the movies for about 50 bucks. I loved these movies as a kid.

Airborne has been on tv here recently, think on HBO so maybe it'll make a push for DVD.

And YES, Monster Squad, haha. I have the VHS at home, such a CLASSIC movie, haha.
