thats the main intersection in the Old City, the main club/bar area of town and that cool looking old building is Patrick Sullivans which is really old restaurant/tavern

Thier marketing scheme is directed at suckers who fall in love with the house for that price, start "seeing themselves" in the house, the get in a bidding war because they dont want to let it get away.

yeah, that area has seen a lot of revitalization lately but Knoxville is still a really cheap place to live... I bet it wont go for TOO much higher than that. A good friend of mine lived in a unit in the same place while he was an undergrad... although he just rented and had a roomate and it was still pretty expensive for a college kid (think around $600 each) it wasnt retarded crazy. I could see it going for $275,000.
