trailer shows way too much if you ask me
2/20/2007 6:21:58 PM
Luckily I was drunk last night when I watched it, so I don't remember too much about it, just that it looked badass.
2/20/2007 6:37:28 PM
god damn it IMDB, quit changing your fucking look.anyways, i'd see that movie.
2/20/2007 6:43:50 PM
I agree, the new look is shit. Pretty much everyone in the feedback thread on there is bitching about it, yet I doubt they will change it back.
2/20/2007 6:49:18 PM
Getting ready to read the short story...looks like the movie could be interesting
5/4/2007 2:31:29 PM
bringing it back....what do yall think about the potential of this movie?
6/2/2007 11:48:37 PM
I'm worried that it is based on a Stephen King book. These are normally really hit or miss, most of the time landing on miss. It could be really good but I'm concerned that a hour and a half later it will end up right where it started.
6/3/2007 8:50:00 AM
Its not even based on a bookIts based on a 30 page short story.
6/3/2007 10:22:03 AM
The short story was great but I don't think it will be possible for it to stretch 90+ minutes and still be decent.
6/3/2007 11:48:24 AM
The short story was fucked up. The movie is going to suck.
6/3/2007 11:55:02 AM
DEY AINT NO MOTHERFUCKING GHOSTS IN THAT MOTHERFUCKING ROOM.[Edited on June 3, 2007 at 12:08 PM. Reason : they should give Cussack that line]
6/3/2007 12:07:24 PM
Part of the reason I liked the short story was the way it was narrated. I doubt I'll see it because I'm fairly certain it won't translate well to live action (that and the fact that Cusack doesn't really work in a horror movie).
6/3/2007 12:22:37 PM
getting really really really good reviewshttp://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1408/^one review says the horror wouldn't work without Cusack, haha[Edited on June 21, 2007 at 7:50 PM. Reason : fhsd]
6/21/2007 7:47:38 PM
Just saw it.It was actually pretty good. I agree with the reviews, that its nice to get away from all the gore.
6/25/2007 3:33:27 PM
saw it last night and loved it.but all I heard on the way out was how terrible it was, people have no taste. I guess they wanted mindless gore and cheesy horror flick-ness.
6/25/2007 9:37:40 PM
^,^^ agreeit's a rare horror movie that does not rely on startle and gore to really make it work
6/26/2007 4:30:19 AM
sucked.
6/26/2007 4:35:36 AM
based on what was said in this thread so far, i have a good feeling i'll love it

Thought the movie was great. They really did a good job with the ending, which in my mind could have either made or broke the movie. I really didn't like the chick with the hammer, she kept freaking me out.As a side note, Sean May was in the theater and I think he started crying
6/26/2007 1:35:20 PM
don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but after the first few startle shots it was kinda all downhill. I mean, there's only so many times you should try to shock the audience into enjoying the movie...which did turn into a good movie
6/26/2007 3:24:01 PM
it was all worth it with the shot toward the end of samuel l jackson saying well done mister enslin, well done. i laughed out loud.
6/27/2007 11:35:46 PM
it was alright, definitely a disappointment to me thoughand no, I dont like stupid blood and guts horror movies
6/27/2007 11:37:50 PM
it was alright

Just saw it, it scared the shit out of me. There were only two jumpy parts, but those kept you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next one to happen. So, since he heard the voice on the tape recorder at the end, what does that mean? Was it "real"
7/7/2007 12:01:36 AM
Anyone who is scared by that movie is an idiot.
7/7/2007 1:11:24 AM
ill say again the emotion wasnt therethe rushed development about the daughters death left me unattached and bored.
