Of course me ferreting out the sick means that I most likely will become ill.

I only have a cold at the moment. I'll def trade runny noses for vomiting and peeing out of my ass.

The Norwalk group of viruses have a 24-48hr incubation period. Even if you feel fine, BAM!! you'll have it later.

It's best to spray your vomitorium with bleach everytime your body decides that thin is in.

Infected persons are also contagious 3 days - 2weeks afterward.

i've felt like i've been fighting off a cold all week, but it finally hit today. earlier i didn't feel so hot, stomach-wise, but i think it's just the common cold and not a stomach flu. i really hope i don't get it, b/c like someone else said, i'll take a runny nose, etc over a stomach flu.

I'll say with mine, I was feeling fine, working all day, then all of the sudden I got really nauseous and went straight home. about 20 minutes after I got the first wave of nausea I started throwing up and pissing out my ass every 30 minutes on the dot, for the next 8 hrs, then intense headache for the next 12 hrs or so. Also, during those first 8 hrs, if I moved even the slightest, everything went to hell. I was glad I have a shower right next to the toilet.

I got a real bad stomach flu just last week and then gave it to my roommate. It didn't last but a couple of days but it was *horrible* puking and everthing *yummy*

My kids have it

They were FINE yesterday, but woke up with fevers today

I type this after cleaning up my 7th vomit since 8PM. Yay. I figure I have about 15 minutes to collect some sanity and maybe read a few pages of my English book (since I'm 200+ pages behind for a text next Friday) before the next round begins.

Greensboro had a novovirus outbreak last week sometime. Everyone was advised to not come anywhere near the hospitals. I've never had it.

I had the worst 12 hours ever but im not sure if it was this or some old pizza that i ate and didnt know that it was 3 days old

I had diarrhea and really painful vommiting and couldnt keep anything down, I was also sweating and delusional at times.

I have a really bad sore throat, and some stuffy nose/coughing. Strep test was negative, so who knows, some virus probably. Doctor prescribed some antibiotics that I can fill in 2 days if my cough gets worse, just in case the strep test was wrong.

I totally blame it on the sick girl who found it necessary to sit next to me on the bus last week, while describing how bad she felt on her cell phone and coughing in my direction.

I went to Urgent Care this morning for a rockin' sinus infection and that place was slammed. It took me 3 hours to get out of there.

I've been lucky enough to avoid norovirus this time around, but I caught rotavirus early in January from one of the kids at work. I had to receive IV fluids because I spent over a week with vomiting and diarrhea. After about 5 days of not holding a single thing down and soiling myself for the first time since I was a little kid, I would have done just about anything to make it stop.

The baby (my niece) gave the stomach flu to everyone when we went to my brother-in-law's wedding in Texas in December, except the two getting married (but they were pretty busy with the wedding). To make things worse, we were eating Vietnamese food all weekend, since my brother-in-law's wife is Vietnamese.

I talked to my parents earlier in the evening, everyone has it at my parents place. From what I know my brother and dad went to the hospital to get IV fluids because it got so severe for them. Bleh. I can't afford to be sick right now so I'm taking vitamin C and sinus medication for my sinuses which have been activing up.

I had some undercooked steak last Tuesday and was completely out of it untill friday or so. I have not been that sick in a long time...

Loss of energy, stomach discomfort, ....

I just assumed it was some sort of food-related bacteria.

yay for two hours of sleep last night

the other 9 hours i tried to sleep were puncuated with urgent dashes to the shitter

thank hell the shower is within leaning distance of the throne

diarrhea by itself or vomitting by itself, sure

both at the same time.....fuuuuck

at least its completely clear from both ends now
