Take it to Lowes or HD and ask them to cut it for you?

I bought it from there and i figured they could, but they dont cut angles. Plus everytime I've ever had anything cut from there its been off by about 1/8" everytime.

mine is out on a job site right now, otherwise i'd let you use it

^^ there should be a station next to their radial arm saw where you can cut it yourself, with a handsaw and a miter box

Mine is out of commission due to needing a blade. The last cuts I made with it burnt the end of the piece of wood and there was smoke filling up my shop.If you don't find what you need I'll let you borrow a mitre box and hand saw if you let me hold something of value (like $20) while you have it. It's one of these: While we're at it, anyone got a saw that could make a nice cut on a 4" thick butcher block? I need to cut off an ugly end to make a table out of it. I'd bring it to you for the cut...Not trying to borrow anyone's band saw.[Edited on February 12, 2007 at 6:49 PM. Reason : s]

SbT....Left you a message. Give me a call if you still need it.^ The butcher block is probably 4" thick by 32" wide where it needs to be cut. I might have to run it across a table saw on each side and then just sand the end until it looks straight, but I don't have one yet. What do you think?
2/12/2007 9:14:29 PM
just run it across a table saw. it has a rip guard that you can set at desired widthblade should be high enough[Edited on February 12, 2007 at 9:16 PM. Reason : ..]
