so I know that its the bonds broken-bonds formed, but i am having difficulty knowing which are broken adn which are formed. for example: H2N-NH2. would it be two ammonia atoms that each have a N-H bond broken that come to together to form one N-N bond?

is the reaction:H2N-NH2 -> 2H2 + N2 ?if so i don't think you form the N-N bond, but its been awhile so i might be mistaken

If that's the reaction, then you would form two additional N-N bonds...

you'd form an N=N bond and 2 H-H bonds[Edited on February 11, 2007 at 6:54 PM. Reason : god its been awhile, you're right...2 more]
