would soviet coins, dating back to the 60s be worth anything special?

got some nazi coinage. unless it's particularly rare, it's not worth much.so your soviet coins might be worth about as much as random american coins from the same years, unless they are rare.

I have tons and tons of coins my grandfather used to collect since he was young. when he passed away i got some and the rest is still at his house. I dunno if they're worth anything but its pretty cool to have money from countries that don't even exist anymore.

well considering the fact that a certain coin from the roman empire isn't worth much more than a penny, i'm pretty sure that a government's existence isn't a crucial factor in determining worth

^yeah my parents have a bunch of roman coins...they're just nice to look at, not really worth much more than that.but of course if you have the coin from Sahara, the quest attached to it might be worth a lot with a side of malaria
