I concur

yup... kohler makes a good light too... some are better than the comparable streamlight

So, SureFire is out of your price range too, then... What are you looking for, exactly? A high power xenon lamp with a lot of throw, or a powerful, long lasting flashlight for midnight diagnoses?I has a few flashlights...

I prefer surefire. better built light IMO. I carry a M2 or L5, and keep an M6 in the truck. streamlight measures its output in candlepower, which is not really an accurate way to measure light. I can also get surefire lights at a 10% discount if anyone is interested. my M2 puts out over 5 times the light a 3-D cell maglight does. www.surefire.com

well i got my streamlight from work. boss had an extra one. no complaints. been using it little m ore than a year. and lawmens has been good about the free servicing. ill check out sure fire though.

i was about ready to take you up on that 10% discount until i saw the $105 pricetag
2/9/2007 12:25:16 PM
haha yeah they're a bit on the expensive side. but, for possibly the highest qaulity, brightest flashlight you can own, its hard to beat. I'm a gearhead anyways.

i'll stick with my cheap ass mag lite and fluorecent craftsman.

Cary Police officer's carry streamlight flashlights. I know because my neighbor is a police officer. He wouldn't let me hold the gun though

whats up with the wu-tang, method man?

My nightstand is GANGSTA. Truthfully, the G2 I have is the least used of my lights. Eventually it's going to be raped into a weaponlight. I prefer the Nuwai Q3. It's an LED, so a hell of a lot longer battery life, and no bulb to replace, plus it's so small it disappears into pockets. It's kind of like an E1L SureFire. The funky bezel has scraped the hell out of my carry belts, though.

^^ did you see his teddy bear standing there too?
2/9/2007 7:47:59 PM
the tiny little penlight streamlight i had was great for doing brake inspections, etc. under heavy trucks
2/9/2007 8:07:41 PM
Just don't get a Mag-light

I love the sure fires, I keep a 9p with a GG&G Tactical Impact Device on it in my truck

Inova LED lights are OK but I'm a big fan of the Sure Fire lights. I even got my first one before they changed the company name.
