2/7/2007 11:36:51 PM
the art museum. You won't regret it.
2/7/2007 11:48:10 PM
Brig's is very good... you just have to get there before the huge church crowd gets there, or else youll be waiting a long timebut Brig's... ftw
2/7/2007 11:56:44 PM
Yeah, I'll second Brigs, Lucky 32, Irregardless, and the Art Museum. Haven't been to any of them in a while because I never have time, but they are all amazing. Brigs and Lucky32 are much more traditional. For Irregardless Cafe you must have an open mind, but I find their cuisine to be absolutely amazing (and they've expanded their menu to non-vegetarian items as well).

is this a special occasion or what?i always like tripps. the ncsu faculty club is pretty decent also, but you have to be a member/guest (obviously).
2/8/2007 2:26:05 AM
glenwood grill
2/8/2007 2:28:27 AM
518 West - really good and pretty cheap too
2/8/2007 6:41:16 AM
Vin (Glenwood South) is really good for brunch (it's far more reasonably priced than dinner there), so if you regularly eat at places like Porter's, 518 and and Irregardless (all delicious choices), I'd go with something a little different. Also, dinner is much better at Irregardless than brunch.[Edited on February 8, 2007 at 8:11 AM. Reason : .]

2/8/2007 9:10:28 AM
If you're in the north raleigh area, Piper's Tavern has a decent Sunday brunch.
2/8/2007 9:13:43 AM
Irregardless CafeFTWSeriously, the best brunch in Raleigh.HOWEVER, Farmer's Market is a good experience for any out of towners.[Edited on February 8, 2007 at 9:18 AM. Reason : ]

2/8/2007 12:28:27 PM
Thanks guys! The art museum is a def consideration, I didn't even know they did brunch. VIN is not on my list because I'm not too fond of some of the ownership, but yes, the brunch is fantastic. Has anyone eaten at Bogart's/heard anything about it?
2/8/2007 4:03:52 PM
Nelson's if you have $Texas.
2/8/2007 4:20:31 PM
Michael Deans is good
2/8/2007 4:31:12 PM
Brunch is an activity only participated in by trophy wives who like to spend their husband's money. So I'll be expecting you at Bojangles around noon with the rest of us losers.

We ate somewhere that was really good for Sunday Brunch. It was across the street from the Walmart in Garner, next to where the blockbuster was. Too bad I can't remember the name of it. Had super-delicious poppyseed muffins.
2/8/2007 4:36:49 PM
I was not impressed at all by the food at the art museum when we ate there before the monet exhibit. The State Club does a good Sunday Buffet, and I can also second brigs.
2/8/2007 5:02:18 PM
Nelson's in Cameron Villageor Brigg's
2/8/2007 5:37:03 PM
2/8/2007 5:38:46 PM
I've never actually been, but I heard from quite a few of my friends that the brunch at Bogarts was awesome
2/8/2007 5:48:37 PM
Finch's FTW! we go every Sunday come rain or shine.
2/8/2007 11:25:17 PM
i've heard all good things about brigs, but i do know that the farmers market has good ole country breakfasts and lunch/brunch meals. their bbq chicken is really good, and everyone at our table that got breakfast was pleased. (this was a group of 10 or so, on a saturday. everyone liked what they got)
2/9/2007 12:20:13 AM
I forgot about NOFO (in 5 points- the old Piggly Wiggly building)...it's good, and there's a bunch of cool junk to look at upstairs.I just don't get people recommending Hibernian for brunch...sure, they have good beer...but their food (especially brunch) is, well, lackluster[Edited on February 9, 2007 at 9:38 AM. 2/9/2007 9:36:47 AM
it's because it's fast and cheap.brunch doesn't have to be this huge ordeal
2/9/2007 10:01:12 AM
art museum is excellenthumble pie is also very goodand, if you dont care about atmosphere, hit up the farmer's market
