are those gloves cancer-related?
2/6/2007 12:16:27 AM
they prevent the spread of cancer
2/6/2007 12:19:13 AM
^^yes. i watched her for part of the game and she had a whole box of latex gloves beside her, as well as antibacterial hand sanitizer. one of the coaches from the other team tried to hug her after the game and she had to stop her b/c of the possible germs she can only shake their hand with the glove [Edited on February 6, 2007 at 12:20 AM. 14-0 when leading at the half....that's damn good.Only the 6th coach to have 700 wins. The women are going to make the tournament for sure. 17-7 (6-3).

Will they PLEASE give this woman coach of the year?!? It's so weird she's never won even the ACC Coach of the Year.
2/6/2007 1:13:16 AM
pat summit with over 925 victories is absolutely UN godly. i dont care if its womens bball. thats absolutely ri DUNK u lous
2/6/2007 1:18:41 AM
ACC is the toughest women's conference BY FARDuke & Carolina are always 1 & 2It's a lot more consistent than men's.And Pat Summit is going to have ~2000 wins when she is done. But girls suck at basketball... by the way
2/6/2007 1:19:13 AM

gg Coach Yow. I believe that if NC State does not do something outstanding for you, ie build a statue, name the court after you, re-name the whole damn school Kay Yow U...there should be stiff consquences for the administration. That said I hope you can still compete for years to come, and reach 800! Go Pack!

cancer does not = best coach
2/6/2007 1:15:20 PM
If we can beat Carolina at home next week (and win out the rest of the games which we are favored in) she may have a legitimate chance to be coach of the year based on ACC play. It was pretty pitiful how few ppl showed up at this game with her going for 700 and us playing one of our more important games as far as the ACC race goes
2/6/2007 5:01:34 PM
congrats!!!! heres to 750 and beyond
2/7/2007 12:46:13 AM
^^^its not wierd to you that a woman who is 6th on the all time list for wins has never once won acc coach of the year?
2/7/2007 1:28:46 AM
^i agree with you, but to play devil's advocate, you can coach for a huge number of years, win tons of games, but still be an decent but not great coach. i think she deserves it, but it has taken her longer than some of the others to get hereagain.. just playin devil's advocate
