They gave up 12 pts in the 2nd half to Washington State and still lost. LOL, they only scored 47 points the entire game including 23 in the 1st and 24 in the 2nd. Whew I don't miss watching his bullshit. Go Sid Go! Great Win

Right here. Remind me again why we cannot love Herb and Sid like I have been asking?

P.S. who do you think built the program to the level it is at?

Packboozie I respect your comments and opinions, but he didn't build crap he molded it to fit his offense which harmed it as far as getting great talent. I think in the next few yrs we will see the best basketball we've witnessed in 15-20 yrs here at NCSU.

i think its safe to say that I was the only person on TWW who actually watched ASU's game tonight and I can say that it was a pretty damned entertaining game to watch.

but I do agree with the original post....that was a great win for Sidney! gg

I'm just glad Herb is somewhere where he has the desire enough to get thrown out of a game for trying to get the crowd into the game.

I'm glad Sid was able to take Herb's second string and do what Herb was not able to do with his first string.

I hate fueling the fire, but let me fix that for ya:

I'm glad Sid was able to take Herb's second string and do what Herb was not able to do with his first string. make things work without major Florida Gators contributor, Dan Werner and Seton Hall starter, Larry Davis...and I'm glad Sid was able to teach Fells how to play defense as a freshman.

Wow, did Sid come coach Fells on defense last year on his days off?

I think Herb learned a lot at State that he took with him to ASU.

He seems to have a lot more fire at ASU. Pumping up the student section after getting thrown out and screaming at the refs. He would have never....ever.... done that here.

He also acknowledged that his Sun Devils don't like the Wildcats when he first took over, albeit realizing they had a long way to go before they would worry about them

I'm glad to see that everyone out there loves him and glad he's happy where he's at.

On that same note, yesterdays game was the most evenly called UNC-State game I have seen in years, and I think theres a good reason for it. I always thought Herb bent over and took it from the refs too much whereas great coaches work the refs all game long till they're 'scared' to call something on them.

I haven't watched an ASU game this year, but hopefully with Herb's newfound enthusiasm and vigor he'll command a little more respect from the Pac-10 refs.

couldn't have said it better myself! Herb never made any attempt to get the crowd into the game during his years at State.

I saw more emotion in the 2 minutes of Herb getting thrown out of the game than I saw in many years as the head coach of NC State.

Although i'm sure you'll come back with some cute little sarcastic comment about that too

^ It's in one of the threads.. can't remember which one..

^^ I don't know man. I saw the game and he was just doing the same shit he did here every game. It was a pointless ejection. He used to raise his arms to the student section like 5 times an ACC game here... surely you remember that. The ACC doesn't call dumbass Technicals like that (unless you're name is Damon Thornton or Cam Bennerman)...

I think at first Herb showed quite a bit of passion for this place... but eventually I think the fans and stress wore on him.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that for the first time I can remember.... he seemed to really enjoy doing what he's doing, and he seemed to really be fighting for his team.

Towards the end of his tenure here he just seemed to be going through the motions....

ImportRida is a fucking idiot.

If you are really 25 then you should know how bad we were before Herb got here.
