My mother and her fiance are coming down to NC in a few weeks.
They are thinking about moving here and want to stay a few nights in Raleigh and also in Asheville.
They basically want to look at real estate in the Western half of the state.

They want to stay in a nice B&B while in Asheville and possibly while in Raleigh as well.
They also want to stay in one somewhere in between Raleigh and Asheville (stopping for a night while traveling)

I've been to Asheville a few times but not enough to really know the area well.

Can anyone recommend a nice one? And one that is in central Asheville (not out in the middle of nowhere) and in a "pretty" area. basically an area that will attract them to move to Asheville.

Yes, i've looked them up online but i'd like a recommendation
the site i've been going through: http://www.bbonline.com/nc/ncbbi/

thanks!

for between asheville and raleigh, Laurel Ridge in Siler City is really nice. Its in my hometown and I have been there for lunch before. The owner is a really good chef. He is bound to serve cuisine.

right outside of asheville there is a small but AWESOME b&b owned by a sweet couple. The place has a lot of character and is very reasonably priced.

read it up, the place is great.

People have turned the house I grew up in into a Bed and Breakfast in Oak Ridge (NW Guilford County - about 5 miles up Hwy 68 from I-40). http://www.oakridgebandb.com/index.html

Funny thing is, my parents sold the place to buy a B&B in Annapolis, MD. It looks pretty nice from the photos - I hardly recgonize the rooms from when I lived there.
