Im no longer in the Raleigh area and was wondering where you would buy kegs. Any big chain grocery stores offer them, etc? You DO have to return the empty kegs, yes? I've never done this and it will be for a wedding. Usually we (we, as in my culture) just buy cases and distribute cans.Kegs from Morganton/Hickory area would be good, if you know the area. Charlotte would be OK

If there is a Total Wine & More in that area check there. They will get you set up. Good prices too.

almost all grocery stores have kegs in the back that they can bring out to you. You dont have to returns the shells because u put down a deposit, but if u do return them u get money back

There is a total wine and more in Charlotte in some town center. They have Kegs.

check into current scrap metal prices. sometimes u can get more for ur empty keg at the scrap yard, than u can taking it back for you deposit

Don't forget about microbrews in the area too. I think there are some good ones in Hickory.
