i've got two guitars

guitar 1, i love, but the pickups suck
guitar 2, i love the bridge pickup (upgraded), i also have the factory bridge pickup

my dilema is that I want to put the upgraded pickup in guitar 1, put the stock pickup back in guitar 2 and sell guitar 2, but I'm not sure how much it would cost to switch them, so any advice/estimated price to switch them would be appreciated. i'm guessing it would be more than its worth, but i'm curious

do it yourself. it costs two sets of strings and a minimal amount of solder and wire.

yeah, definitely do it yourself, then. It'll be worth it for the experience as well. Re-wiring guitars can lead to some fun projects.

well it depends on the guitars, however if they aren't super nice do it yourself the wiring of guitars isn't that hard

yeah, and it depends on whether it's a rear-entry sort of situation, because that might be more difficult. I did all my shit on two strats, so that was pretty much as easy as it gets.
