This is appropriate for this forum since well... it's sports related. I'm having about 10-15 people coming sunday and I'm going to provide wings and drinks (byob). Would you try to make your own or buy them? Any deals going on anyone knows about?

since you have to ask, you're probably not skilled enough to cook for 10-15 people.go the easy way

buy them since you don't want it to start off on the wrong foot

Make your own. They're already overpriced. Save yourself the dough and throw some on the grill/oven/fryer. Then grab some good BBQ sauce and have at it.

heh nah too many people have too many tastes and some of them complain if you don't have what they like. Also not everyone is drinking. Letting a 6 year old drink a beer would not be looked upon well. I'm also not spending $100 on beer. They get wings and soda/water etc. Everyone's bringing a dish and their own drinks. I provide the seating and the big ass TV. What I was hoping for was recipes if you think I should make them. (In oven). Or... if there's a good deal on buying wings somewhere in large quantities I'm more than happy to go that route. I don't mind dropping $30 on some good wings.

There isn't much to do when it comes to recipes for wings. Fry/Bake/Grill as you want, douse with BBQ sauce, and serve.

You can get a huge bag of wings at BJ's. You can just bake them in the oven and then apply the sauce (I prefer Texas Pete Buffalo Sauce). They may even have wings with sauce on them already.
