I was wondering how graduating GPA is listed/determined.Looking here: http://www.ncsu.edu/grad/handbook/section3_18.php#gpaIt says: "The grade point average will be calculated to three decimal points"Will your final GPA when you graduate be listed out to three decimal places or do they cut it back to certain # and round? Thanks for the help.

yes b/c a 2.00 looks better than a 1.999, a 3.0 looks better than 2.99, etc.and for a lot of people it could be the difference between graduating the different degrees of laude

Good question on the final decimal place. If you have some time to kill during class one day, make a spreadsheet which computes your current GPA. (If you double-major, its a good way to find out what your major GPA is for your second major).

They take it to three decimal places. So if you get a 2.249, you will not graduate Cum Laude (and so on for the other designations); you need a 2.250+
