Every time I get mail on TWW using Firefox, it tells me I need to download a missing Quicktime plug-in. Then it tells me it doesn't have an automatic install and I need to click "manual install"

I go to the website, download quicktime, and load the plug in. Still, the same problem persists.

Any ideas?

tww mail plays a wav file when you get mail i think

Quicktime Alternative has a plugin that works with firefox, get that
