probably 3 months ago i guess, my horn stopped working and my turn signals have stopped flashing. the signals both work, they just don't toggle so i have to do it manually. i've replaced the relays/flashers to no avail, which leads me to believe the problems lies in the wiring.

i'm trying to sell it, but if i can't before the inspection runs out in march, how much does rewiring typically cost?

i could take at look at it for you sometime, horn is probably the contact ring, and the flashers is probably a bad ground

well i think the headlight motor is going bad too, because the right one opens slower than the left and they both make this awful grinding noise when i close them.

but yeah as far as i can tell the lights themselves work

what kind of flasher, if they don't have enough load on them, they won't flash, the heavy duty ones won't work on your car

the turn flasher isnt in the fuse block, thats the hazard flasher, it should be to the left of the steering column under the dash by itself

you can take apart the headlight motor and rotate the plastic driven gear so the drive gear doesn't touch the bad part anymore for a free fix.

i'm probably gonna ask $3500-4000 and go from there. its got 147K miles, but i'd say at least 70% of those are highway, and there's a scrape on the right fender but its otherwise pretty good cosmetically

my Formula headlights do the same thing -- that grinding noise after they shut... has been doing it for 1.5 years and still works fine though.
