So im pulling on to western from avent ferry (taking a right), and i gun i through 2nd gear. Around 5-5500 RPM's i hear this BANG and then i hear pieces of something bouncing around underneath the car (or so it sounded). I let of the gas and the car returns to idle normally and there doesnt seem to be a problem. I keep on driving to my destination keeping an eye on the gauges. All seems well. When i come to a stop i notice a slight vibration throughout the car, when i give it some stick in neutral the car vibrated horribly (didnt do it in gear). So i drive home and as im driving i hear another very similiar sound followed by some in car vibrations which then dissappeared. I pull to a stop in my apartment complex and rev it in neutral and all seems well (no vibrations). At idle, however, there is still a slight wobble throughout the car.So, my first diagnosis is that an old/poorly bolted engine mount gave up the ghost, which was then followed by the other one. Thoughts?Tomorrow ill through it up on stands and check it out (unless someone has a lift laying around ; )1993 BMW 325i, manual[Edited on January 19, 2007 at 8:17 PM. Reason : edit]

exhaust hanger might be broken

ah, fan blades. Upon closer inspect about 6 blades broke off and they were pointed down, i had to rotate it to see.It seems as though the radiator moved back a bit upon acceleration and caused it.
