We should start planning something from now...so we can plan far enough ahead that most of us will make it without conflicts. (such as track events or autoX's) haha.

I'm in! Let's do it. I want a dry day so I can show you AWD guys up
1/19/2007 2:37:22 PM
I'm in, but the weather may not be good till March.
1/19/2007 3:30:20 PM
march would be perfect
1/19/2007 7:41:41 PM
im in, for a nice wet & foggy day on the skyway [Edited on January 19, 2007 at 8:23 PM. Reason : /]
1/19/2007 8:23:42 PM
I would go, but I'm afraid my gs-r wouldn't be able to keep up.
1/19/2007 10:45:45 PM
the speed limit is 45 and many turns advise lower speeds. you should be able to keep up with these people.and if they are riding over the limit just take ur time and catch up with them when they take out a guard rail or kill motorcyclist enjoying a cruise with their daughter/son/wife.
1/19/2007 10:47:33 PM
dude, your GS-R would have no problem keeping up at the dragon. with the right kind of driving, you can guide a civic to keep up with the "fast" cars.speaking of which, maybe ill bring my civic this time.
1/20/2007 12:25:50 AM
I'd love to go.
1/20/2007 12:53:17 AM
The Dragon is a ricer street race meet. Its just a fun cruise in the mountains. The maximum speed we'd ever go would be 60 mph and that for only a couple seconds or so. At worse you'd fall behind a little before catching up.It would only be half as fun with a super low power car (civic) though because the ascent would take forever with your engine weezing at that altitude.
1/20/2007 1:17:37 AM
yeah FI shines at altitude
1/20/2007 1:48:27 AM
besides...when i was leading I always waiting for any stragglers to catch up. Its no fun if you just wiz off by yourself and leave some of your group behind.good thing too or they would have just left me behind with no gas
1/20/2007 9:34:57 AM
Im planning on taking a trip up there around that time as well on the CBR. Might still be a bit cold yet, and you might not want someone on a sport bike buzzing around.
1/20/2007 9:48:05 AM
^well if we can get the other TWW sport bike guys to go too we can have a dual group thing.
1/20/2007 11:49:09 AM
6 hour ride on a 600rr... catch a tiger by the no.
1/20/2007 1:08:19 PM
Dual runs would be rough.I think we should schedule a car-only run coming up in March.
1/20/2007 4:23:44 PM
I agree, sounds like a great idea.
1/20/2007 4:30:39 PM
done deal
1/21/2007 3:16:01 AM
dragon was fun. this time, please lets focus on just the dragon. the skyway was cool. but my car was acting up, plus it kinda sucked driving through the mountain.
1/21/2007 3:47:12 AM
ill bring my junk
1/21/2007 3:39:27 PM
So you guys are down with March?I think we should go friday afternoon, stay fri and sat, and cruise all saturday.
1/21/2007 4:54:14 PM
and lets not race P.O.S. riced out eclipses on the way back
1/21/2007 5:52:33 PM
i'm down as long as its not over spring break, i'll be in haiti. i just want to go for the sightseeing, so im hitting up the skyway too while im up there.
1/21/2007 5:57:17 PM
Let's figure out a date then so I can get the time off.
1/21/2007 7:30:38 PM
if we leave friday, lets leave kinda early, so we can at least hang out and relax before we hit it up on saturday.
1/21/2007 8:20:13 PM
i'm out of class by noon, so i guess i'm game after that time.
1/21/2007 8:36:10 PM
So...leaving first Friday of March?
1/24/2007 9:54:38 PM
hmm, if i dont sell all my cars by then. sounds like a plan.
1/24/2007 9:56:56 PM
^^first day of march is spring break i think. Most people will be out of town.
1/24/2007 10:41:48 PM
1/24/2007 10:51:58 PM
i cant get over the gayness of this thread, its almost as stupid as deals gap, do yall fags even realize that there are back roads out there that make that shit look like I-40?
1/24/2007 11:32:10 PM
lets hear 'em
1/24/2007 11:35:35 PM
^^ Sure 69, there's plenty of back roads. I've found several in fact, and drive them from time to time. However, the Dragon is somewhat unique in that it has virtually no side-roads (except for that damn construction road right now), and people expect you to drive like a maniac there. You're far less likely to take out some poor sap checking his mailbox. With that said, if you know of any awesome roads up this way (NE TN/NW NC) that aren't too residential, I'm always up for checking them out
1/25/2007 8:48:42 AM
suretheres plenty of roads if you live in the mountains
1/25/2007 3:54:36 PM
So late march work for everyone?I'll start planning this now.
1/25/2007 4:16:27 PM
^^ Yah, but small mountain towns have their downsides too...ever tried to find a girlfriend when they're all married by 18-20? What a pain.[Edited on January 25, 2007 at 4:17 PM. Reason : .]
1/25/2007 4:17:24 PM

2/20/2007 2:13:00 PM

2/20/2007 3:01:32 PM

2/20/2007 3:37:18 PM

2/20/2007 5:50:48 PM

2/20/2007 6:06:49 PM

2/20/2007 6:09:15 PM
