So I know Prime95 is good for CPU testing (and maybe memory too i think) but is there a program that offers a more in depth burn-in? Basically I want to make systems won't break as soon as I deploy them...and i was hoping to find sometime that tests more than just the processor.

Sandra has tools for this.

I used Prime95/OCCT/memtest/sandra2005 when I was stress testing... sandra has a "burn-in wizard"

quick run of memtest and a burnin with Sandra is definitely all you really need.

I wouldn't run a memtest (not necessary). Sandra would take care of everything.

it takes 10 minutes and ensures your memory is completely stable. If I ran nothing else, I'd run memtest on any new machine, especially a custom build.

I don't know how stressful it actually is, but that falling sands java game thing always spins up the fans.

^^ my need for this software is rereturning systems to the field...i'll swap out a new machine for an old one, then rebuild the old one and delopy it to someone else.so it sounds like memtest and maybe prime95 at the least, and sandra if i want to do a full test?

^^if you run just prime95 and memtest, it'll find about 99.5% of any instability errors. Sandra is good to find the occasional flaky peripheral.
