So my interior trim was all cracked and ugly so I took it off, the only problem is it left a bunch of the stickey goo behind. I have tried goo gone and simple green to take it off but they arn't working .Does anyone out there have a secret on getting this goo off? I have heard there are some types of degreasers that are safe to use on plastic panels and will work but I don't know which ones. Thanks

Liquid nitrogen and a wood chisel.

Tried for like 2 hours yesterday, nothing happening. The plastic has a grainy texture that likes to hold in the goo. So if I use a knife or chisel it will score the plastic and make it look crappy.[Edited on January 18, 2007 at 11:59 AM. Reason : df]

try a scrubby pad like you would use for washing dishes with some dawn dish washing detergent or some orange solve. if u feel risky maybe just a little bit of mineral spirits--not sure if the mineral spirits would fuck with the plastic or not
