i have a 9-in-1 preload cd thats got SP2 integrated, as long as you know which version you will need for your license. I can send it over to you if you dont mind waiting out the 40kbps speeds.

^^its an XP pro license, is that what you mean by 'version?' also boot camp says it has to be all loaded on one disc.

You can make your own SP2 install disc from a pre-SP2 disc. Google slipstreaming.

Each version of windows has OEM, Corporate and Retail versions. So you'd need to know which you have (almost guaranteed a retail key, if you bought an off the shelf boxed copy)

Do they make different keys for different OEMs?Like will an IBM specific key work on a Dell machine? Or does the OEM version cover all OEMs?

I've got an XP SP2 disc. I'll put an image up for you to d/l if you're interested. I'm on resnet, so speed isn't an issue.[Edited on January 19, 2007 at 11:06 AM. Reason : Yes, it's a legit image from a real disc]
