does anyone know how to shrink wrap a book without having all the fancy tools that are used to do it? i bought a book from the bookstore and took the shrink wrap off, then i dropped the class and now the bookstore wont take the book back, so i need to re-shrink wrap it so i can return the book. I wouldnt be worrying about it if it wasnt an $80 book so any help is greatly appreciated.

sometimes there are specific publisher stickers that have to be on the package too. not sure if yours does or if they'll even notice, but just another thing that might make your trickery not worth it

In Michael's, they have the wrap used to shrink wrap gift baskets and whatnot. If you use that and a hair dryer, you might come out with the same results. It'd be close anyway. I think the wrap is like $5 for a big roll. They sell it in smaller sizes as well.

I've seen them shrink wrap at the bookstore and seen them use what I thought was a blow dryer except with a bigger fan on it than the one I have at home.
