have all juniors declared?
1/15/2007 10:44:58 PM
theres no way the Lions don't take Johnson or Jarret
1/15/2007 10:45:10 PM
Calvin Johnson will not fall out of the top 10, guaranteed
1/15/2007 10:46:47 PM
I'd like to see the Panthers maybe get Nelson^^lol^that too[Edited on January 15, 2007 at 10:47 PM. Reason : .]
1/15/2007 10:47:24 PM
ahabtw lamarr woodley will probably be a Bronco
1/15/2007 10:48:17 PM
I'll be doing my usual one the first week of february and update it every week
1/15/2007 10:48:56 PM
i think juniors have like 72 more hours to decide. they were saying something about it when they talked about colt brennan today on sportscenter
1/15/2007 10:49:46 PM
btw i dont see the lions not picking either peterson or a DE/DT
1/15/2007 10:51:10 PM
the bucs will take C Johnson
1/15/2007 10:52:23 PM
and definitely not a WR... haven't the lions drafted like 235213534 WRs in the last few years?
1/15/2007 10:52:50 PM
the bills won't take a WR
1/15/2007 10:56:20 PM
haha Houston is taking a running back?what an insult to reggie, what stupidity
1/15/2007 10:58:18 PM
its actually neitherthey had a big time running back this time last year...who later turned out to be a mental defect2 totally fucking different situations
1/15/2007 11:02:56 PM
dont the jaguars have a good D already, id figure theyd go offensive pick in the first round...wide receiver?
1/15/2007 11:06:48 PM
i saw them as a little weak on the OL and LB. i chose the best available from those 2 positions
1/15/2007 11:07:56 PM
a.) Calvin Johnson won't slide past the Buccs.b.) I think you're right about A. Peterson.c.) I've been saying Sidney Rice to the Chargers all season and I expect that one to be right too.d.) I thought I read Samardzija was suppose to be looking at baseball or something?e.) I don't expect the Packers will take a WR with their pick. Jennings and Driver are solid.I wouldn't be suprised if you saw some moving at the top of the order. I could see the Lions or Cleveland trading out of their spots.
1/15/2007 11:09:43 PM
the lions will prolly go with a RB in petersonthe browns may go with....a QB as wellthe cardinals will FOR SURE go with O line men with wishenhunt as coachthe vikes will go with WR prollyand the Jags go with an O lineman or LB
1/15/2007 11:10:05 PM
ESPN has their first mock up on Insiders if anyone is a subscriber
1/15/2007 11:12:52 PM
1/15/2007 11:16:10 PM
the chargers need to trade for Jcotch
1/15/2007 11:17:09 PM
4^ Yeah I thought with Kevin Jones having a serious injury this past season that Detroit may jump on Peterson. But there is no way the Vikings don't take a QB if there is a decent one available. The QB position was one of their major weaknesses.^After the year Cotchery had, I don't expect he'd come very cheap. I figure they'll try to trade Edwards for a first-round pick though.[Edited on January 15, 2007 at 11:21 PM. Reason : .]
1/15/2007 11:20:25 PM
sidney to the chargers would be $$$$$$$$$$$
1/15/2007 11:21:08 PM
i think they like Bjohnson actually, hes not a bad QB at all solid and knows the gameI think he needs some WR to throw to and they can be back in it, especially with his TE being one of the most underrated in the game.Lions will go Peterson I got a feeling, Houston will get him if they do notFalcons need a good WR option for Vick...no tellin what may happen therei made this thread like a week ago in a way
1/15/2007 11:22:28 PM
1/16/2007 8:44:36 AM
Calvin Johnson will be picked #2 by the Lions.
1/16/2007 8:47:16 AM
unless calvin johnson breaks both his legs between now and the combine, he's not falling out of the top ten
1/16/2007 9:23:01 AM
I could actually see CJ not going as high as he should, since teams have more pressing needs at the top of the draft.Miami would be crazy not to take CJ at #9 if available though. Their recievers are terrible.Atlanta would pick him too, if not just to say that they're giving Vick the tools he needs (& since he's local). Also, I expect the Panthers to take a LB, whether it be Posluszny or Woodley from Michigan
1/16/2007 9:53:04 AM
^Good eval, I agree. Carolina needs an LB or OL. Atlanta would be in the running for Calvin but he just has too many skills to pass up at a higher pick. I like that the first guy didn't pick all skill positions but maybe tried to hard. I don't think Adams is a 3rd pick although I like his athleticism.
1/16/2007 11:39:36 AM
^I thought that Atlanta might try to make a trade to move up to get Johnson, but I don't know what they'd trade. And the Panthers do need a LB and a OL, but they could also use S help since Davis has become a LB.But Nelson might be to flamboyant for Fox's style. But I thought the same thing about Gamble, so maybe they can control him.
1/16/2007 11:58:38 AM
the only team i can see trading up for Johnson, and they seriously might consider it from what is being said is the Titans.so i see CJ either going to the Bucs or the Titans
1/16/2007 12:02:30 PM
According to the Charlotte Observer the Panthers don't consider have a 1st round safety to be an integral part of a good defense (when's the last time they spent $ on one, the shoulda never let Chad Cota go!) So I doubt they'll pick a S 1st round, more likely LB like Posluszny, or an O-lineman if they choose to reach for need (like they did with Peters in the past)
1/16/2007 2:05:53 PM
1/16/2007 3:08:09 PM
^might as well...i mean Johnson and Vick would be like Johnson and Ball...a great WR and nobody to get the ball to him accurately and consistently
1/16/2007 3:19:11 PM
I've heard the ATL might try to unload Vick and go with Schaub, if anyone will work with that huge contract.
1/16/2007 3:36:10 PM
IMO, the Panthers' greatest needs are LB, S, OL and possibly WR if Keyshawn retires. I hope they take a LB or S with the first round pick. Landry from LSU is a good S too.
1/16/2007 4:18:39 PM
I could see Oakland being stupid enough to take a chance on Vick though they may would try to restructure the deal some I'm sure. That could be a great move by Atlanta, but I expect they'll think it too big of a risk that they might lose some revenue from ticket sales because of it.
1/16/2007 4:27:39 PM
Vick for Moss straight up?
1/16/2007 6:05:23 PM
thatd be a great trade for the falconsjust by the fact that schaub would be their QB
1/16/2007 6:06:42 PM
^^Na I don't think Vick would come that cheap.I could see them going Vick for first and second round picks perhaps.
1/16/2007 6:20:52 PM
are you serious? Who would overpay like that for vick
1/16/2007 6:25:35 PM
Oakland, haha.
1/17/2007 12:34:00 AM
all depends on who Oaklands coach isrumor is Denny Green may be there
1/17/2007 12:39:53 AM
Jim Mora goes to Oakland and takes his QB with him for the 1st pick.Atlanta takes Calvin Johnson.[Edited on January 17, 2007 at 1:07 AM. Reason : ]
1/17/2007 1:07:10 AM
Oakland is looking at San Diego's WR Coach
1/17/2007 1:10:50 AM
I see Brady Quinn going a little sooner and Calvin Johnson ALOT sooner. Even though Quinn is overrated someone is going to snag him earlier, possibly the Lions or Browns.
1/17/2007 10:01:51 AM
^^another team hires a coordinator who didn't handle one unit worth a shit last year. How's he supposed to manage the whole team?
1/17/2007 10:42:42 AM
^perfect fit for the Raiders

I think Reggie Nelson is a little to high in your draft CPanther. He will be in the 20's
