Anyone know if the questions in the 10th edition of the text book are the same as the ones in the 11th? The text itself has been the same so far, but i just want to make sure that the questions are as well. Would someone mind looking to see if their 11th ed. ?'s match up with these:In the 10th edition question 2-2 asks for (a) F1+F2 and (b) F1-F2. 2-25 states "The log is being towed by two tractors A and B. Determine the magnitude of the two towing forces..."thanks

The questions are never the same. That's how they make money, by forcing people to buy new editions that had questions with new numbers, slight formatting changes, and "enhanced graphics," but quite minimal change in actual content. Also, you can't just check the wording of the questions. You have to look at the numerical values on the figures.[Edited on January 14, 2007 at 4:39 PM. Reason : ]

buy the 11th ed. book for 150 bucks or whatever or borrow your buddy's go to a copy machine copy every page that has a potential hw problem on it . this will take you an hour or so and $10 to $20 at most and once you take the book back you will easily save $100 anyways. dont worry bout the text all the info is the same and you dont really read it anyways do you?i did this several time it works as long as you pay attention and copy everything[Edited on January 17, 2007 at 2:16 PM.
