Hi, and welcome to TWW.

1. TWW is not a blog unless you are joe#s or some other similarly popular character.
2. Having a hard time job hunting? Welcome to the fucking club.
3. Blogging is not lounge material.

My advice is not to worry or get frustrated. I know exactly what you mean becaue I've traveled that road once too many times. Just keep applying yourself and you will victor in due time.

check all the free online searches, try e-pack, keep checking the papers (thats where i got my first job), apply for everything, and if you live near a university apply for all the positions they have open (i believe both ncsu & unc have online application options). and have friends & contacts keep an ear out.

and be prepared to be jobless for atleast 3 to 6 months after you start seriously looking.
thats about what I experienced after graduating with a philosophy degree last year. i got a receptionist job at a local vet clinics (i think its the biggest one in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area), and i may be the manager of the vet clinic by the end of this month... i've got my fingers crossed.

it sucked over the summer being jobless, despite the fact i had free time, since no amount of applications equalled guarenteed employment, but i held out for something above food service and it worked out for the best. good luck!

dont depend on the internet to find a job
work with a recruiter or a temp to hire

there are a ton of jobs availble if you are qualified to do anything that uses a brain

get on the phone and call HR depts about their openings b/c 60% of the jobs are never posted online.

again, dont depend on the interent to find a job.
