This guy is god of Techno. I know, he makes movie themes most part. But, burn that bias, I never realized his movie themed works are actually a good medium as some great artists. I think you all should invest some time enjoying the soundtracks he made for some of the movies.I really enjoyed Blade runner op & Bounty opHis personal website hasn't been updated in 6 years and it still says it's doing construction (gay)

a friend of mine has a bootleg CD from Peru that is a bunch of covers of Vangelis' works. The cover of the Antarctica theme is way electronic and way awesome. Unfortunately, I have no idea who did it, and the CD was in such bad shape that when I ripped the song it had crackles and pops everywhere, and certain parts of the song just get skipped over, like a record with a really bad scratch.

At last a thread like this comes along.I have been a big fan of Vangelis for nearly a decade. I have about every album he did. The greatest thing about his music is the diversity. Anybody that looks at his work will find themes about China, music for documentaries, ballets, etc. The man is not limited.[Edited on January 10, 2007 at 8:50 AM. Reason : .]
