So then get up and contact legislators, join a lobby group, do something. General Assmebly reconvenes January 24th.

In LA, they had these THC Strips, that looked just like listerine strips. It was so weird to go in the medicinal marijuana stores.

^I'm not sure if the tax stamp thing is still in effect. If you read a link off the page I sent it says that it was delcared unconstitutional(double jeopardy)

^ There should be a case against self-incrimination, too.

Many people are pro-marijuana law reform but don't speak out on the issue because of apathy, laziness or fear. Take a stand this May 6th at the State Capitol building. There will be speakers, bands and a good time for all. The turnout was only ~200 last year due to rain. There's no reason we can't get 100+ from NCSU alone. Be on the lookout around campus for posters soon (please don't steal them for your wall; on the other hand, if you see someone tearing one down, ask them what they have against individual liberty - violence can be resorted to at your own risk )There will be booths in the Brickyard starting around early April. If anyone wants to help out around Raleigh (besides just attending the rally), send me a PM. Local news crews will swing by and the larger the gathering, the better. http://www.myspace.com/cannabisNC[Edited on January 11, 2007 at 10:43 PM. Reason : .]
