Sometimes you can get just the juice from specialty stores. Most people just buy jars of olives and use the juice out of those. It works if you also put the olives in the martini so you're not wasting them.
1/5/2007 5:31:48 PM
that is enough for 2 drinks...maybe

Forget the olive juice. Bite a bit of a green olive and mash it up with your teeth in the front of your mouth. As you sip the martini, make sure the liquid flows THROUGH the chewed olive--trust me, you'll have a much better drinking experience (and make sure it's a vodka martini).

lowes foods carries that shit i thinkdon't quote me

something tells me that a jar of straight olive juice would be a lot more than just buying one or two jars of olives in olive juicei mean damn, how much juice do you pour into your martinis? it's just supposed to be a flavoring agent, not a 50/50 ingredient

if you belong to costco or some other place like that, they sell giant bottle of olives, so you can buy those and use the juice...
1/7/2007 3:41:18 AM
There quite a bit of olive juice in the jar with olives, for much more than 2 drinks! I don't know how much olive juice you put in your drink, seems like too much. In fact, at the rate of 2 or 3 olives per martini i always have olive juice left over in the jar when the olives are gone. But if you really want it, Total Wine sells olive juice.

I had a dirty martini one time with Absolut Peppar vodka. Pretty good b/c the Peppar flavor was like black pepper or just peppers in general.
1/8/2007 11:18:10 PM
007 and other martini purists would slap all of your faces for even mentioning olive juice in a martini
1/9/2007 8:29:15 AM
Actually most of you have it completely wrong because a martini is made with GINNOT VODKAThat's called a vodkatini. The traditional style martini is made with gin and few drops of vermouth. MAYBE an olive or two...but NOTHING MORE!!Where the hell did this practice of calling anything you put in a martini glass a martini. So wrong...[Edited on January 9, 2007 at 9:01 AM. Reason : ]
