drives dont recognize dvd/cds when i insert them. BIOS recognizes them but they dont show up in My Computer. what should i do?

Answer, yes. Can we tell what you are asking from the thread title? No ... VERY general. Something better would be "CD Drive not Showing Up in Windows".

The CD drives are probably not assigned a drive letter in Windows. Right click my computer, click Manage. Click on Disk Management. Right click on the CD-ROM, Change Drive Letters and Path, pick a drive letter.

If this isn't it, please be more detailed about the problem, when it first started, etc.
