truck sits all night and will have water under the driver's side and passenger's side doors. I'm going to go for a hale mary and guess the door seats are shot .would this be a correct assumption? how much do door seals run? is there a cheaper place to get them compared to the dealer?

apparently there are 3 seals. one for the door. one for the top of the door and one for all the way around the body. for 2 of them it's 100 a piece and for the upper part of door it's 30 a piece....unless someone has a solution i think ill be rockin wet feet and towels for a while.the solution can be ghetto as long as it works i dont care.[Edited on December 26, 2006 at 10:16 AM. if the door seals are flexible and not cracked, just smashed down, i usually just run a bead of silicone down in the groove of the strip and leave the doors open till it sets, then it pushes it out and seals the strip tight against the door

check the third brake light seal and rear window seals first. common place to develop a leak on 94-02's. give the thing a good hosing and see where it's coming from before you start spending money...

not sure what kind of truck but we have a chevy that was leaking from the clearance lights on the roof... evidently the factory torqued them down too much.

its a 90's dodge 1500, they leak everywhere, cant keep oil in and cant keep water out

Only thing worse is an '80s Dodge pickup. Even the '70s were much better.
