My sister got the Sims Deluxe Edition for christmas. She installed it on her laptop but it won't let her play. It says to log on with an administrator account even though she already is logged in as Administrator (this is winXP pro by the way). Tried creating a new administrator account to play the game and that didn't work either.

I was looking around the Interweb and I found this happens in other games as well but I didn't find a solution that actually worked. Has anyone overcome this problem before?

Check the permissions on the directories that the game accesses.

Also, what is the exact error that is popping up?
