What is the order chronologically in which each spinoff in the Star Trek franchise takes place? For example, Enterprise takes place first and the original Star Trek happens before TNG but thats all I know. Just curious.

is this a nerd test?that being saidyeah, that's basically right, with ds9 and voyager falling in line after TNGbut, god damn you, if this is a trick, i'll set my phasor on kill
12/21/2006 4:18:40 PM
Enterprise actually exists in all spheres of time.In fact, Enterprise is really code word for "The Time Machine"
12/21/2006 4:19:51 PM
haha no trick. i'm watching voyager but didn't know if it was before or after TNG. figured someone has to know[Edited on December 21, 2006 at 4:22 PM. Reason : .]

^ perfect, just what i was looking for. thanks!
12/21/2006 4:26:07 PM
voyager was badass as hell today
12/21/2006 5:26:28 PM
Voyager gets no respect, but some of it I understand. They were the first to pull the whole "hey let's bring in a sexy pointless character to raise raitings." That and half their episodes were "time" episodes that had the following plot:1. Temporal Anomaly encounterd2. Crazy shit happens.3. Episode ends by returning to Step 1.4. Profit???
12/21/2006 5:28:50 PM
10 movies, 300+ episodes.... shit man you could have a channel play nothing but ST...
12/22/2006 10:32:52 AM
if its not TNG its shit
12/22/2006 11:04:58 AM
^i'd suck Jean-Luc Picard off if he were standing next to me.print it. some faggot tried to convince me that Sisko was a better captain. the exchange involved more profanity than supporting facts, but afterwards i felt pretty good about it.
12/22/2006 12:45:50 PM
<3 TNGI didn't watch any more Star Trek, but my dad watched every episode until its untimely end.
12/22/2006 12:51:22 PM
i have all seven seasons of TNG on dvd. i love that show.
12/22/2006 12:55:17 PM
They need a new series with the same kind of basis as TNG
12/22/2006 1:02:56 PM
I was thinkin about that. It would be cool to have a new show about the generation after TNG of the enterprise. Maybe Riker as captain, and some other people, like Guinan (who doesnt age) could be holdovers from the last show.
12/22/2006 1:04:13 PM
that douchebag riker couldn't have his own show. he's a quarter the man picard is, despite his shatneresque expansion over the course of the show.[Edited on December 22, 2006 at 1:12 PM. Reason : .]
12/22/2006 1:11:37 PM
Riker was a toolbag, no one would watch that. Not even hardcore star trek nerds.
12/22/2006 1:14:43 PM
he'd be up there talking about "make it so" then i'd have to put a fucking brick through the tv before i hunted him down and...
12/22/2006 1:16:51 PM
well what current actor do you think would make a good Enterprise captain?here are my suggestions:Alec Baldwinin fact, what other positions would you like to see filled in the cast?Vin Deisel would make a good Klingon.[Edited on December 22, 2006 at 1:26 PM. Reason : sjflsdfj]

a baldwinshould never wear a starfleet uniform
12/22/2006 1:26:41 PM
My roommate gave me seasons 3 and 4 of Voyager today before work.
12/22/2006 1:49:46 PM
I didnt start watching TNG till recently. I always liked the movies but I'm just now getting into the shows.
12/22/2006 3:17:25 PM
to tell you the truth, i just want to see more patrick stewart
12/22/2006 3:35:52 PM
my problem with voyager is that janeway sucks as a captain and leadershe tries to micro-manage and do everything herselfif there would have been a different character as the captain (and better writing), it would have been more well receivedthe whole borg stuff in voyager was so much better than the borg stuff in TNGkirk made TOSpicard made TNGsisko made DS9 (as well as the war and uncertainty in the show)janeway held the show back in voyagerthe commanding officer really was the make or break point for these four
12/22/2006 8:17:51 PM
12/22/2006 9:24:36 PM
I like Capt. Janeway. She's no more overbearing than Picard or Sisko.
12/22/2006 10:58:15 PM
I only ever watched the occasional episode of TNG (although my roommate would watch at least 2 episodes of TNG or DS9 every day) but it always bugged me how Picard was supposedly French but had a British accent. But it's a good show.
12/22/2006 11:04:15 PM
yeah i also only watch the show occasionally. only when i see an upcoming episode that sounds interesting
12/24/2006 12:58:54 PM
12/25/2006 1:31:01 AM
are there any plans to make a new show or movie? the last movie kind of left you hanging
12/27/2006 2:07:42 AM
imdb.comand yes.
12/27/2006 2:16:37 AM
They need to get up on a Deep Space Nine movie where Capt. Sisko returns from the Prophets.
12/27/2006 12:22:53 PM
If you ever listen to foreigners speak English, they speak in a fairly obvious British tone as 'proper English' is taught as 'British English.' Not that its relevant in the 24th Century, where Earth has been one government for quite sometime.
12/27/2006 12:37:18 PM
i didn't really see anything on imdb. link?
