Does anyone on here have any experience with it? Does it cost less if you get multiple procedures at once? i am not looking for anything major, just a little help here and there where I just can't seem to work it off. I was looking at pricing, but I would like to know your opinions.
12/20/2006 1:20:04 AM
What do you plan on doing? You're gorgeous. I can't find anything that needs fixing.
12/20/2006 1:21:41 AM
^thanks, I appreciate the compliment, I was jsut looking at lipo or tummy tuck. I don't know which one I exactly need. And maybe throw in a pair of knockers worth while. and a nose job maybe, but that's more undecided.
12/20/2006 1:25:04 AM
Tummy tuck is more for people who lost a ton of weight but the skin still sags and hangs overlapping other skin. They cut out the excess and make the skin taught.
12/20/2006 1:29:39 AM
that's what i need, cause i lost like, 85lbs all together and i just cant seem to get rid of that little bit extra.
12/20/2006 1:31:08 AM
why would you think about fucking up your titties...you got some pretty big ones i think[Edited on December 20, 2006 at 1:41 AM. Reason : never really thought about your boobs that much...i think they were big though]
12/20/2006 1:40:54 AM
could go a size bigger
12/20/2006 2:48:57 AM
i'm pretty sure they were nice already
12/20/2006 2:55:37 AM
12/20/2006 3:01:00 AM
i know her irl...iirc, she had some decent sized ones
12/20/2006 3:01:47 AM
oh
12/20/2006 3:03:24 AM
12/20/2006 10:04:39 AM
well, it did help Paula Jones....
12/20/2006 10:16:10 AM
not really worth it unless you have some sort of disfigurement imho....
12/20/2006 10:17:06 AM
^^^what an asshole[Edited on December 20, 2006 at 10:21 AM. Reason : ^]
12/20/2006 10:21:02 AM
here's an idea, get your diet down and get your ass in the gym and get serious.
12/20/2006 10:36:23 AM
diet and exercise doesnt get rid of excess skin
12/20/2006 10:42:26 AM
You should check out Viserage. http://www.viserage.comI sold Dr Stein a van (it was actually for his wife) this past spring. Very nice office. Aparrantly a couple ladies in the office of the dealership I worked at had work done by him and were very happy. I don't have any personal experience but take that info for what its worth
12/20/2006 11:34:27 AM
12/20/2006 11:39:54 AM
12/20/2006 11:42:35 AM
12/20/2006 11:43:46 AM
then read the whole sentence.
12/20/2006 11:44:50 AM
so you are saying she needs to work on her diet after losing 85 pounds?
12/20/2006 11:45:38 AM
if she still has weight she would like to lose, then yes, its possible that she needs to reevalute her diet.the same diet that lost 85lbs may not be the appropriate diet for getting those last 5-10lbs of cosmetic fat off.
12/20/2006 11:48:32 AM
fair enough...idk maybe you havent seen her in person
12/20/2006 11:51:14 AM
you're right, i havent, but i have been in a similar situation as her (losing a lot of weight, but not able to get those last few cosmetic lbs off), so i do know that a diet/workout change could be all she needs. its a much safer and cheaper alternative to surgery.
12/20/2006 11:53:13 AM
u mind sharing any of your tips? i mean it could help her, but it could prolly help me too- senior year hs i was 225, then i once i started state, i got mono, and the weight flew off- i'm like 177 now, but still look kinda flabby177>225 though
12/20/2006 11:55:03 AM
I mean, if you already lost 85 pounds I'd think you could lose a little more to avoid liposuction. I'm not really a fan of plastic surgery to change natural appearance either, nobody's perfect, live with yourself
12/20/2006 11:55:07 AM
to get those slabs of hanging skin due to the 85pd weight loss, you will have to get plastic surgery, there isnt really any other way for that to come off.
12/20/2006 11:56:27 AM
^^^^ what exercises are good for loose skin and stretchmarks?
12/20/2006 11:57:09 AM
^^one couldnt do a ton of ab exercises or something?
12/20/2006 11:57:45 AM
those flaps could be useful. You could...make a bowl out of them and eat your cereal, or something like that
12/20/2006 11:59:55 AM
12/20/2006 12:00:13 PM
is this something you've decided on a whim? or have you been seriously considering this? i mean... i could understand if you were completely flat chested and you wanted some boobs, but you aren't. or if you had a huge schnoz and you were always teased about it, or it made it difficult to breathe, but i don't remember anything out of the ordinary from the one or two times i saw you. you're young, i wouldn't waste my time or money on plastic surgery unless you were completely miserable with yourself or something. Congrats on the weight loss... so you can get those extra vanity pounds off? Hire a personal trainer... it'll be cheaper in the long run, no scaring, no cutting, no risks... and think of how much better you'll feel about yourself knowing that YOU did it. I've had what some may consider plastic surgery before... I believe I may have any discussed it breifly on here a long time ago. But, the only reason I had it is because a) it was starting to affect my health, I was having major back issues and I was only 17 and b) it was affecting my emotional status. End result: I was happy with the outcome, but I had some complication post-op. I had it done when I was 17, I'm 23 now and there's still some visable scarring. I think a lot of people don't take into consideration that scaring that comes into play. Wait til you're older and shit starts to droop, then by all means if it makes you happy do it. But I really think you're too young to be considering a tummy tuck / lipo so early in the game. Just my opinion though.[Edited on December 20, 2006 at 1:04 PM. Reason : .]
12/20/2006 1:02:29 PM
Ok, I think we need to settle/decide something.
12/20/2006 1:08:22 PM
With lipo is it the case that, while some fat cells have been removed, the remaining cells are just as enlarged and as unhealty/fat as before... so that its more like cutting off a chunk of your stomach than reducing the fat content of the cells to lose weight? Or is that a misunderstanding of how it works?
12/20/2006 1:16:24 PM
i think it's just loose skin ppl. i don't do well with diets because putting restrictions on myself always makes me more hungry. since i have really seen all the final results from my excercise program i an't get rid of that pootch that has haunted my whole family for years. just a looking for something small. it's not like i'm trying to get lipo because i'm 300lbs and lazy. i just need some help because i've tried everything else to get rid of it. i was looking at viserage and they seemed fairly priced. i think i'm gonna make a consultation with them.
12/20/2006 1:48:10 PM
if you talk to Dr Stein ask him how his wife's van is working out. If it has blown up already, you do not know how to get in contact with me and you may not want to go back there
12/20/2006 1:50:15 PM
lol
12/20/2006 1:53:01 PM
^^^ let us know how it goes... but seriously don't do the nose or boob job thing just b/c it's at a reduced rate.
12/20/2006 1:55:52 PM
nose job should be top priority!
12/20/2006 2:34:57 PM
Tell me what you don't like about yourself.
12/20/2006 2:49:28 PM
actually more people who are not overweight get lipo done than those who are overweight. they are still insecure with their bodies even though they are perfectly fine to others. is a boob job or a tummy tuck really going to make you happy with yourself? thats the question you should answer before getting anything done. a lot of people start getting plastic surgery and can't stop cuz its never enough. if its beneficial to your health, then im all for it. i also hope you can deal with pain. i have seen many women waking up from plastic surgery in so much pain and in tears. its not pleasant.
12/20/2006 3:29:21 PM
el borracho sorry for sounding like a jackass in this thread...i just felt like talking about your boobs on twwits more entertaining than a lot of other threads
12/20/2006 3:49:41 PM
if you really worked hard to get a lot of weight dropped, you've done more than 99% on tww, and if you're just wanting to get rid of excess/hanging skin, i say more power to you.i've always believed in working hard and eating right to take care of weight problems, so i definitely don't support plastic surgery as a quick way out of getting rid of a little fat.so, i say only do this if it's just skin... which is just about impossible to get rid of from what i understand, and it's something you've done you homework on and you know it will make you happy.good luck
12/20/2006 4:32:08 PM
This is fucking sad if it's genuine.Seriously.
12/20/2006 4:40:59 PM
